Semenuk and Hall dominate Big White Winter Rally

Brandon Semenuk and John Hall have won Big White Winter Rally winning all but the opening stage of the rally ultimately finishing with a margin of six minutes, 20.09 seconds. The drive was perhaps the most dominant victory of the season, a testament to the focus and effort put in by the team.

Semenuk and Hall steer to day one lead at Big White Winter Rally

At the finish of the first day of competition at Big White Winter Rally, Brandon Semenuk and John Hall lead the event with a margin of one minute, 20.1 seconds. While the pair finished strong, a spin on the first stage cost the team approximately 30 seconds, a deficit they recovered on the second stage before going on to build their lead through SS3 and SS4.

Showdown on snow at Big White Winter Rally

Big White Winter Rally marks the end of the 2018 rally season in Canada, and while championships have been decided, a strong group of competitors is ready to race. Taking place on roads near the Big White ski resort outside of Kelowna, BC. The event is the second true winter rally of the year.

Carré and Joyal Win Lincoln Electric Rally of the Tall Pines

A hard-fought battle in demanding conditions ended with Karel Carré and Samuel Joyal winning the Lincoln Electric Rally of the Tall Pines in their first attempt at the legendary event. On road coated in a mix of ice and water, the pair proved themselves the best team at the event and earned enough points to cement the 2018 Canadian Rally Championship driver and co-driver titles.

Kelly Mathew lives a life in rallying

You could say that Kelly Mathew was predestined to be a rallyist. For years before she was born, Kelly’s parents Nigel and Lou competed separately in rally events in Great Britain, always taking part in a rally on the Isle of Mull. Nigel was a driver, while Lou co-drove in a different car.
