Canadian Rally Championship goes to eight events for 2019

Tuesday, October 23rd, 2018

The Canadian Rally Championship is growing in 2019, bringing back all seven current events and adding Rallye de Charlevoix. Each event holds its traditional dates, with Charlevoix slotting into the schedule between Pacific Forest Rally and the Lincoln Electric Rally of the Tall Pines.

The return of the classic Rallye de Charlevoix has been keenly anticipated by eastern rally fans familiar with the event. Charlevoix was run as a national championship event for many years, stopping after the 2002 edition. A new organizing committee resurrected the event in 2009, and it has run as a regional rally for the last ten years.

The full details of the schedule can be found in a bulletin posted by the Canadian Association of Rallysport. The 2019 schedule is as follows.

Rallye Perce Neige – Feb 1-2
Rocky Mountain Rally – May 24-26
Rallye Baie des Chaleurs – June 28-30
Rallye Défi – Sept 5-7
Pacific Forest Rally – Sept 26-28
Rallye de Charlevoix – Oct 18-19
Lincoln Electric Rally of the Tall Pines – Nov 22-23
Big White Winter Rally – Dec 6-8
