The Canadian Rally Championship returned to action at the 50th anniversary of Rocky Mountain Rally, round 2 of the 2023 championship. After the most recent editions were hosted in Alberta, the rally made a popular return to the Columbia Valley, British Columbia. The later calendar date meant the teams faced hot temperatures and dusty, rough roads.
A deep polar airmass brought extreme cold temperatures to Maniwaki, Quebec the night before the start of the 2023 Canadian Rally Championship at Rallye Perce Neige. Undeterred by temperatures hovering near -40C, 28 teams took to stages presenting a mix of hard-packed snow and ice. Hearty fans were waiting out in the woods to cheer them on.
The season finale of the 2022 Canadian Rally Championship saw dramatic action in ideal winter conditions at the Big White Winter Rally. High snowbanks and fresh snow greeted competitors for the one-day event on the roads around Big White Ski Resort near Kelowna, BC. The event featured a morning loop of stages, followed by night-time action on one of the longest stages in the Canadian championship, featuring 36 kilometers flat out through tight snowbanks and hairpin turns.
For over 50 years, the Lincoln Electric Rally of the Tall Pines in Bancroft, Ontario has been known as one of the toughest single-day events in the sport. The 2022 edition lived up to expectations. Under clear skies and unseasonably warm temperatures, twenty-three teams lined up to tackle sixteen stages featuring a mix of hard-packed gravel, snow, and ice.
Survival was the name of the game at Rallye de Charlevoix, round five of the Canadian Rally Championship. Set on the edge of the Saint Lawrence River in the picturesque town of La Malbaie, the combination of tricky forest stages and spectator-lined tarmac super specials caused nearly two-thirds of the 35 teams entered to suffer either off-road excursions or mechanical failures.

With dusty conditions and a reputation for being a rally of attrition, the stage was set for high speeds and maximum drama.
Tanveer Deen and his sister Naila Deen took their Mitsubishi EVO IX to a comfortable win after dominating the Rocky Mountain Rally, the second round of the Canadian Rally Championship, held in Kananaskis Country, Alberta. The event packed 178 competitive kilometers into just 7 stages, with the bulk of the Rally being held on the epic 34 km long Powderface Trail stage.
Jérome Mailloux and Philippe Poirier drove their Test Racing Subaru to the top step at Rallye Perce Neige, the opening round of the 2022 Canadian Rally Championship held in Maniwaki, Quebec.
Kyle Tilley and Alex Gelsomino piloted their Fiesta R5 to a commanding win at the Big White Winter Rally, the final round of the 2021 Canadian Rally Championship. Finishing second at the event also secured André and René Leblanc the overall national championship title.
