Victory for Jean-Sébastien Besner & Hubert Gaudreau at Rallye Baie-des-Chaleurs!
A powerful performance on Saturday followed by a calculated, controlled drive on Sunday earned the duo the top spot on the podium.
“It was a hard rally, but we pushed when it counted and managed the lead to get the win,” Besner shared. “I came here with no other intention than to have fun, so getting the win and celebrating with the fans, volunteers, and this incredible organization is awesome. Hubert was a real pro; everything went perfectly. Thank you to everyone!”
Congratulations to André Leblanc and Dave Cyr on winning the 2WD class and finishing a stellar 4th overall!

The champion duo from Team TEST Racing , Jerome Mailloux – TEST Racing and Philippe Poirier, made a return to the Rallye Baie-des-Chaleurs for a one-off appearance, claiming the second step of the overall podium!
Here’s Jérôme on their rally : “We knew we couldn’t be the fastest this weekend, so we drove at a good pace while saving the car as much as possible, and that allowed us to secure 2nd place.
Thank you to the TEST Racing team for keeping us in the running, and thanks to the entire organization and the volunteers for another great event.”
“At the start of the rally, everything was going well, and we were trading stage times with Besner. Then, we ran into some mechanical issues that slowed us down. We still had a blast out there with Jérôme and Philippe, who drove a great rally. Since it’s a new car, the teething problems are showing up; we’re going to fix everything to be back for Rallye Défi en Beauce! Thanks to the whole team who did an awesome job, as well as all the volunteers!”
