Stellantis Motorsport and Team FJ have officially announced the launch of the Stellantis Motorsport Rally Cup North America, a new single-make championship that will feature the Peugeot 208 Rally4. Set to debut in 2026, this exciting new cup is modeled on successful Stellantis rally programs across Europe, and it’s coming to Canada and the United States.
From the CRC rallies to the gravel stages across the U.S., this new cup will follow a six-round championship format featuring snow and gravel rallies. The top contenders will battle it out in a semi-final in the USA and a grand finale in Canada, where points will be doubled. Each driver can count their best four results, and competitors will be split into Junior and Expert categories.
Well known for organizing the NASCAR Europe series, Team FJ will manage logistics and technical support. The group brings extensive knowledge of the Canadian Rally Championship (CRC) and the American Rally Association (ARA), ensuring the cup is well-integrated into existing rally calendars.
With over 10,000 stage starts globally, the Peugeot 208 Rally4 has already proven its performance and reliability. The North American launch builds on its international pedigree and is designed to attract both emerging talent and seasoned privateers. Prizes will include cash awards and potential opportunities to race in Stellantis-supported programs globally.
Stellantis’ Didier Clément, Head of Customer Racing, noted:
“Launching a Brand Cup in rallying on the North American continent is both a unique and very exciting challenge. Our Peugeot 208 Rally4, with over 10,000 starts since its launch, has already proven itself in rallies around the world, and its first appearances in American and Canadian events have each resulted in a 2-wheel drive category win. We are therefore confident that the teams who join this Cup will have a great time and a chance to showcase their speed.”
