My first stint as a co-driver was with Mario Piamonte in an Anglia sporting a Ford twin cam engine. With so much power it was inevitable that we would leave the road at some point and DNF. My next co-driving job was with Ron Jarvis in a Datsun 510 at the 1972 Press On Regardless, an FIA sanctioned rally in Michigan. We finished a respectable 17 out of 76 starters. That same year I switched seats and began several years of National Rally events at the wheel of a Datsun 510 and then later driving a Fiat X1/9 as part of the Grierson Race & Rally team. In 1999 I came out of retirement to navigate for my friend Aron Gabor in his Subaru Legacy turbo. We competed in the eastern National events in 99 and 2000. In 2021 I joined the Lancia Rally Team alongside Chuck Storry for some rally sprints and in 2022 we will be competing in some of the Ontario Regional events.
