THE RALLY DÉFI 2020 WILL TAKE PLACE ON SEPTEMBER 12th & 13TH

Monday, August 31st, 2020

It is with great pleasure that Rallye Sport Québec and the Club Automobile Défi Outaouais announce that the Rally Défi 2020 will finally take place this year, on September 12th and 13th. Due to the delays relating to the pandemic and the health measures that have evolved over the months, the new organizing club, the Club Automobile Défi Outaouais (CADO), finally opted for a reduced event which will consist of a sprint disputed over a single day on Saturday 12th and a RallyX on Sunday 13th.

The new organizing committee, under the leadership of Louis Montpellier and David Brassard, can count on the same group of officials and volunteers, as well as its main sponsors, as in previous years. An exceptional collaboration from Club Autos Sport La Licorne has been added. However, the committee decided to reduce the schedule was a better choice to improve the experience to relaunch rally activities in Quebec while acclimating to a new organizational reality for 2020 (no spectator special, health measures, etc.).

The steps are already in place for the 2021 Rallye Défi to resume with usual national status calendar, as long as the situation continues to evolve. For more information, read Pole Position magazine and the Facebook page of the Rallye Défi.
