In grade seven, our first big downhill homemade go kart race ended in disaster. One of my competitors sabatoged my steering resulting in a fly-over ditch incident into barbed wire on the Godwin’s farm. Stitches and rootbeer made everything ok.

High school career test results top two results: Cartoonist, Stuntman. Sounds about right!

My first speeding ticket was procured on my FIRST solo outing in Dad’s Honda Civic less than 1km from dad’s house. The officer was delighted to escort me home to face my dad who shook his head and sighed “I’ll take care of it officer…”. My view, is that’s a bit like hitting a home run your first time at bat, some may disagree!

Going fast and sideways is in my DNA, now in a more organized fashion. The Canadian Rally Championship holds enormous challenge and opportunity. The competitors, volunteers, organizers and fans make it an incredible experience.
