The Eastern Canadian Rally Championship (ECRC) presented its fourth round of the 2021 season, as part of the Rallye de Charlevoix. Back in the calendar after a one-year absence, the event had multiple leaderboard changes among the beautiful scenery surrounding the towns of La Malbaie and Clermont. In the end, it was Jérôme Mailloux and Philippe Poirier who were victorious, despite a stressful end to their rally thanks to mechanical problems that chipped away at their lead.

This rally, which marked the end of the season’s first half, experienced many unexpected twists and turns but at the top of the leaderboard, one team dominated: Jérôme Mailloux and Philippe Poirier, who won with their Test Racing Subaru WRX STI.
On Saturday, the Eastern Canadian Rally Championship (ECRC) presented its second round of the 2021 season, the Black Bear Rally, held in the Catchacoma region north of Peterborough, Ontario. This event rich in history was dominated by someone competing in it for the first-time; Quebecker Alexandre Moreau, co-driven by Ian Guité, won the rally in a Swap Shop Racing Subaru WRX STI.
After a seventeen-month break, the Eastern Canadian Rally Championship (ECRC) restarted this past weekend with its very first round of the 2021 season, the Rallye Baie-des-Chaleurs, in the Gaspé region of Queebec. This rally was a long-awaited return to competition for all tams registered in the event’s different series and categories.

It is with great pleasure that Rallye Sport Québec and the Club Automobile Défi Outaouais announce that the Rally Défi 2020 will finally take place this year, on September 12th and 13th. Due to the delays relating to the pandemic and the health measures that have evolved over the months, the new organizing club, the Club Automobile Défi Outaouais (CADO), finally opted for a reduced event which will consist of a sprint disputed over a single day on Saturday 12th and a RallyX on Sunday 13th.
The 2020 edition of the Rallye de Charlevoix will take place this year from October 23 to 25, as initially scheduled. The event is part of the North American Rally Cup, the Canadian Rally Championship, the Eastern Canadian Rally Championship and the Quebec Rally Championship.
